In the “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” a computer answers the ultimate question about life, the universe, and everything. When the computer finally spits out the answer, it is “42.” Of course, it took so long for the computer to answer the question that the people had long since forgotten what the question was. But at least they knew the answer: 42.
