It's not the best picture, but all I had was my cheap-o cell phone. If I ever eat at that Taco Bell, I might go right up to the pole and inspect it more closely. I suppose it is still possible that it was a tree that is being used as a telephone pole, but all the bark has been stripped off and the top has been cut off, and it has some of little metal id plates that are nailed to most telephone poles. Afterall, how can a tree live with no bark? If it buds in the spring, I will go buy myself a taco and take a gander up to the pole to look at it. Ok, I have added a picture of the pole.
